I think I am probably no longer eligible to write to you (expired, sociologically) but just had to say how very sorry I was to hear about Pookie. We lost our kitty Kittu to renal failure (and our doggie Gunji, and maybe our cat Poodi---it's strangely common). Animal deaths are the most conclusive proof there is something really wrong with life. Just can't help telling you how hypnotic your accounts are. They are what I'd refer aliens to re what a life here can be like at the high end. Your descriptions of the new kitties (and with Pookie) are very fun and identifiable. They should go crazy over the sand boxes. We've taken in four groups of sibling homeless kittens in the past 18 months. The future looks terrifying from the point of view of accommodating more of the inevitable. When I need an escape from the STM editing that supports our book publishing co., I now shortcut to your place. Thanks. ---www.booksforachange.blogspot.com (cheap and easy noncat Web site masquerading as blog)
